Sally's Bar back to all in one again

Was out in Jomtien last night. Talked to Tim. He and Sally have gone back to the old setup of lb/gg mixed in their long time venue on Soi 5. There were about 10-12 of each last night, according to Gypsy, whom I asked to give me a quick count.
The current economy apparently made the idea of opening a lb only venue not a good one at this point in time.

There seemed to be a good sized crowd there too for mid week especially, when I left at 9pm.

That's great news, I always preffered the Soi 5 open location compared with the Smokey closed in Bar in Soi 4

I really enjoy the original venue so probably good news for most of us.

My guess is that one could get more hands on at the Soi 4 location but that's not a consideration for me as I just want a friendly watering hole.

Well if they decide to close all the bars after lunch it won't make much difference!

I'll be in town from July 12-18. If u r still around, I'd be looking for a buddy to check out the Jomtien venues. My former "wingman" Pigdogg is still not in town and others often find it too far. Would like to meet Gypsy - Lefty recommended her and I only had a brief SMS-exchange back in May but we never hooked up.

If you do not have a mate to visit Sallys do not worry as Tim the Boss is a great guy. He very friendly and amenable Brit with many friends and most hospitable.
Nice bar and very conviviable.

We still have Dau here along with a dozen or so others. As with most businesses in Pattaya it's very quiet compared to previous years. If you or anyone else come in, please introduce yourself. I know a few of you on here but always happy to meet more. Tim.
