You are doing such a good job of giving people a reason not to go there that nobody else really even needs to anymore.

The internet and forums like this could have been a great marketing tool for you and YOUR bar but instead you chose to just come on here and disregard even the simplest of suggestions at how to improve the place.

Keep it up and before long you know what? Your statement that you don't have a bar will actually be triue

In the reply to my question to the management about Verity's identity, I was told that the Club was standing room only last night, "the place was heaving", was the exact phrase.

Rather than turning people away it looks like many have voted with their feet & called in to do their own research.

Will they return, who knows, they can decide for themselves.

The owner was highly pleased, in the mddle of a down turn in Pattaya with many bars not expected to survive, he said business has been up over 150%.

Plus he is very excited about the refurbishments, told me they look fantastic, "should have done it years ago", & there are many new staff members, LBs & GGs, all gorgeous.

Sorry Ozzie, I know you & others would love the place to slide into the sea, but after 20 years of successful trading, could it be possible they just may know what they are doing?

Again you seemed to have missed my point.

I actually would like to see this place be a successful ladyboy venue and there is more than enough room for different types of places including this one in the ladyboy scene in Pattaya.

What irks me is that you and Verity are trying to sell as something which it is not. It is NOT a place to relax and enjoy a quiet drink with a friend , it is NOT a place where you do not get hassled for tips and it is NOT a place that is on the cheaper side as far as drinks go.

Just to set the record straight as both you and Verity seem to think I have not even set foot in the place.

I have been there about 5-6 times so I think I can make an informed decision as a patron of the place. I have also bar fined from there so my opinion is just as valid as yours.

Alright all you Fucksticks,,,stop the arguments as they agreed to change the tip box to a more customer friendly one. Also there were so many people there they have a standing room only section to que up just to get into the joint! That is the final word!!

Thank you Ozzie for a very fair & balanced comment.

I had read where you have made previous visits to the bar & like you, not all my visits went off perfectly.

I did feel frustrated that in a thread advising everyone that the management were actually listening to what had been said about them & were instituting changes to address some concerns, that a few jumped on the bandwagon to attack the place.

So just who has missed the point....anyway let's move on.

I agree with you on all 3 points, but I have just sent a long email to the owner with some ideas for him to consider.

Amongst other things, I suggested more remodelling inside, removing most of the signs & installing more indidvidual volume controls, like he has done in the new seating area.

This will never make it a quiet place for a drink but should allow people to hear each other over the music.

I have no idea how these suggestions will be received but I am encouraged by their willingness to act on past problems.

The Tip Box is another issue altogether & I advise anyone offended by it to ignore it, I waved it away on enough occasions that they finally stopped asking me.

it strikes me that you see yourself as some sort of marketing guru well i hope you have the millions to prove it

   Hold on a sec Verity before you get this entire thread deleted & shoot yourself in the foot.

Blasting everyone whose posts rub you the wrong way isn't helping anyone, least of all yourself. Here's a few things to consider:

    1) there is no free speech on the forum, equal rights is not a concept that carries any weight here so any nasty or unnecessary comments can be wiped at will.

    2) Seanbeag is a member you should be offering to buy a drink for, not attack, he may have gone off half-cocked on the above post but he did it because he is a friend of mine & a very loyal one at that.

I appreciate any support I get on the forum & I will argue all day in support of him, he has no history of being vindictive, in fact if you read what he is upset about, you will see he is actually supportive of me supporting the Club.

Ergo he is on the same side.

I wanted to say our side but you need to put your guns down. There is zero to be gained by alienating more folks here.

One school of thought is that a Tip Box is good idea because those who want to can tip and those that don't want to can ignore.

However, for me, I'm uncomfortable not putting money in a tip box and it takes me out of the spirit of having a good time if I refuse to play the tip game.

And I'm not going to be intimidated into putting 100 baht in box.

So it's a lose-lose situation for me. But I'm not the target audience anyway.
