I should point out that Boystown can be seen from The Penthouse Suites but the Kitten Club is a mixed GG/LB bar that attracts none of the Boystown clientele.

It stands alone in Pattaya in its presentation & the line-up of staff.

The current selection features some new babes that can go all the way in the scene should they want to.

Ask for Bee (yes, another one) & Tukdah, or Tuk (pronounced took)

If they don't appeal then I have to stop drinking....

As I recall, your previous experience in barfining one of the sex workers from Kitten's was somewhat disappointing. At least it is refreshing to read that the place has somewhat redeemed it's self in your eyes at least

Always happy to review my opinion - if it has improved I will be delighted.

The big disappointment was when it was announced that an all LB bar called Obsessions was to open adjacent to the Kitten club - this really never happened.

Previous comments about higher drink prices still stand though - 140 for San Miguel Light. Stringfellows, EZY, La Bamba, Naklua, Jomtien - all under 100. LD's normally 120.

It is not judged on drink price alone but the general attitude that prevailed in the past. I prefer to go to a bar sit down have a drink and take a look around. I really do not enjoy getting 'mobbed' immediately upon entering.

Pacman - as you are in LOS perhaps you can escort me and give me the guided tour?

Last time I was there, 5-6 weeks ago, it was the Obsessions side that I went to.
But I've heard that sometimes its closed and then the LB are in the Kittens side.

It was the way my problem was dealt with the last time that made me return.

It is rare in my experience that the management of a bar would take it on themself to sort out a complaint that involved a staff member who had left the premises.

I feel re-assured that someone gives a stuff & having met the management I feel welcome to return.

Just a comment on the drink prices -

last night I went for a drink at the Sheraton here in Bangkok. My colleague drinks there every night when in town & he likes Mojitos at about 600 baht each.

Looking at the beer list I saw Heineken on tap for 250 baht, Singha, Tiger, etc were 250, plus Stella, Corona, etc were 350.
I ordered a beer & made my excuse to leave after one.
I am not cheap, it just was a waste of time sitting there so close to Nana with none of the advantages.

I paid with 300 baht, thinking to leave 50 tip. Wrong, with service & taxes it came to 294 baht.

Remember there were no girls in bikinis, no girls at all except for a few older opportunists.
No spa, no dancers, only a guy playing music.

My friend thought it was a great place as the night before he had taken one of the older girls to his room for only 100 Euros.

I don't say the Kitten Club is equal to the Sheraton, I mention it to put prices in perspective. Not everyone visiting Thailand wants to get loaded every night as cheaply as possible.

Ok so the Kitten Club is the Sheraton of LB bars

Stringfellows, EZY, La Bamba are all Holiday Inns!

I guess I prefer Holiday Inns.

I do not think comparing a 5 star hotel pricing structure with a bar has any value when justifying an over priced LB bar.

Fly 1st Class, Business, Premium or Economy - all customers get to the same destination, at the same time, BUT some customers paid more for a different standard of on board comfort.

Let BM's give Kitten Club another 'chance' and report back.

My point was that you were charged 50%+ for your beer in a bar that offers nothing more than similar venues for LB's in Pattaya. You were in a Holiday Inn.

BM's do not really care about the price of their drinks but are more discerning on the actual venue and how they 'feel' when visiting.

To date most BM's do not rate Kittens highly on their personal experiences.
Pleased you had a good experience and hope that this is a sign of the bar improving.
