Bloody Mary please! I'll be in Patts for 2 weeks from 23rd August to request it.
An interesting variation on Bloody Mary is a Tokyo Mary. You use sake instead of vodka and wasabi paste instead of tabasco.
And if you can be arsed (I certainly wouldn't expect any bar to do it), instead of using tomato juice, you puree a load of fresh tomatoes in a blender, pour the whole lot into a muslin cloth, hang the cloth up for an hour or more and let it drip into a bowl, until there are no more drips. You end up with a liquid that's almost clear but has an incredibly intense tomato taste. I've done it a couple of times and it's worth the effort.Comment

Amazingly (well to me anyway) I've found a Road Runner cocktail!
2 shots Vodka
1 shot Amaretto
1 shot coconut cream
1 shot cream + ice (alternatively icecream)
Shaken and strained into a martini glass.
Only things is after having overdone the vodka on a previous occassion I find it gives me instant heartburn.
Mine's a Dr. Gordon's and you-know-who.

Into a blender full of ice add 2 parts midori,1part vodka, add a dash of tequila and top with pineapple juice and blend and you have yourself a big alcoholic slurpee.
I'll be in town next week so if I get sick of beer I may be ordering a few of these.Comment
