I had the great good fortune to arrive in town yesterday, the second night of the
"soft" opening, a picture is worth a thousand words, so there is not too much to add except with the quality of the staff I reckon "soft" opening is an oxymoron Very Happy When Lek and I arrived, unfashionably early Karl and Sombat were ensconced at the bar, Karl was in a chair with a Batman insignia, obviously keeping it warm for the bar's esteemed patron, also with due respect to Batman for ever the bar is resplendent with foot rail.
There were only a couple of Ladees there when we arrived, both top drawer (Ve and Tata), A little later the lovely Oh arrived and after exchanging warm greetings, she got on with polishing the foootrail for her distinguished Teerak. BTW batman, Karl says your brush is still in the back of the bar Laughing
As the picture show Karl has not skimped the baht on interior decor, but I think all you fans of Karl's music and I think that's all of us, will be blown away with the upgrades in that department.
And he doesn't neglect the nice personal touches, within minutes of entering the bar he was playing Monkey man by Toots and the Maytals, he remembered I was a Toots fan Exclamation Exclamation
As we left I said "Good Luck, I have a feeling you won't need it"
I think Ezy will become a favourite venue
When I were a lad we had the one thing that money can't buy...poverty
