Soi Cowboy
What is the the thought on this area? I was searching the forum for some updates on this one, but just curious what the current state of Soi Cowboy is these days? Worth a visit? Skip it? Trying to decide if I want to check it out when I come or just stay away.

There is 2-3 ladyboy bars on Soi Cowboy. I believe they are all gogo bars, so they are not as relaxed as the lounge style bars. Our ladyboy bar map shows Shadow Bar and Cockatoo Bar.
I've not been to Shadow bar but I have heard good things about it. Cockatoo Bar is fine but small and your classic gogo bar. They have short time rooms on site, unlike Nana Plaza.
Soi Cowboy is like like a smaller version of Walking Street in Pattaya and a second to the almightly Nana Plaza. Soi Cowboy is worth a look and have a drink at these bars, it's an interesting area. Likely these bars are more expensive than lounge style bars.
Nana Plaza is the center of adult activity in Bangkok. Why Not, Check-in and Chaos 9 all very close to Nana Plaza. The whole area around Nana Plaza is bars and adult party spots.
Inside Nana Plaza are several ladyboy bars. All the ladyboy bars in Nana Plaza are gogo bars and fairly high pressure. Many of them are geared more to Chinese and Japanese customers but still good.
Obsessions in Nana Plaza is the oldest ladyboy bar in Bangkok and you are likely to find the hottest ladyboys in Bangkok here. Nana Plaza is not cheap but Obsessions is worth a visit. It is fantastic and can have a hundred ladyboys on staff sometimes it seems. They have many shifts of ladyboys dancing on the stage. There is no short time rooms in Nana Plaza but many nearby. No ladyboy trip to Bangkok is complete without a trip to Obsessions bar.
Nana plaza also has the hottest lady bars in Bangkok.

Thailand is the great leveler.
I'm sure soon I will be jealous of you when you are showing pictures of the ladyboys you meet in Bangkok.
You won't believe how many hot ladyboys you will encounter. There is so many to choose from.
That's why I usually recommend not booking any ladyboys in advance because it sucks to be stuck with one ladyboy while you see even hotter ladyboys everywhere you go.
No where in Bangkok has more hot ladyboys in one place than Obsessions bar. They may not all be tops or have huge dicks but they are so many gorgeous ladyboys there it's sometimes mind boggling.
Since this thread is about Soi Cowboy here is some more about Cockatoo Bar on Soi Cowboy.
Cockatoo Bar is the first ladyboy bar on Soi Cowboy which opened maybe around 2012. Previous to this there were no ladyboy bars on Soi Cowboy. Now there is as many as 3.
Cockatoo bar is a gogo bar similar to those in Nana Plaza but will tend to only have 15-20 ladyboys on staff and the bar is kind of skinny like a hallway.
These are pictures of a ladyboy I took to a short time room at Cockatoo Bar over 10 years ago. So I don't think she will still be around and I can't remember her name. As stated, they do have short time rooms upstairs. Lucky number 19.
The next pictures I took at the the 2015 Ladyboy Water Volleyball tournament in Pattaya. Cockatoo Bar had the team in yellow but they only competed this one year.
