Question: when it comes to protection, do we need to carry our self or the provider will have it?

also , I am planning to have some minimum currency in hand and do forex there in Bangkok. Any suggestions here?

Never hurts to have a couple condoms. Most providers will have condoms and lube and the bars have some too.
Many are on PREP now but they would usually still carry supplies. There are 7-11's ever block or so and they have this stuff right up front easy to grab.
Obviously keep lots in your room.

I've tried everything for bringing money over the years and it just turned out the easiest thing was to use ATMs. There is so many ATMs in Thailand it is crazy.
The majority of them have good exchange rates and the fees aren't ridiculous. The main reason I did this is all the time I spend trying to save a little bit wasn't worth the time.

Sometimes I get some Thai baht from my bank just to get me started, but the rest I get out of machines. I just make sure I have more than one card in case one gets blocked or locked. Open an account with only a limited amount of money in it, or if you use a credit card cash advance you are usually protected against fraud.
I take out the maximum amount each withdrawl so that waters down the fees. The ATM has a small fee and your banking network could charge $5-10 international banking fee.
So usually the maximum withdrawl is about 20,000 - 30,000 baht so the fees aren't really significant when you take that much. I think if you take a cash advance on a credit card, I don't think they have the international banking fee but they do have a cash advance which is usually not over $5.

If you stick the main bank brands in Thailand you are usually good. There isn't really any ATMs that charge ricidulous fees but there is some really cheap one's at the airport and a few places around Bangkok. Krungskri Bank seems cheaper as well as Kasikkorn bank.

Every hotel room has a safe and Thailand is quite safe if you make sure you get your girls from safe places.

Bring a small amount of Thai baht for emergencies, and exchange the rest upon arrival in Thailand. Currency exchange points are readily available on the streets of Thailand; those at the airport are less favorable, as exchange rates vary from shop to shop.

I am coming to Bangkok for the first time in December and very much wanting some beautiful ladyboys. I will be staying at the Aira Hotel on Soi 11. Anybody have any insights on that hotel? Is it LB friendly?

Also I found in my research Cindy's Secret LB Bar right across the street and Check In 11 right down from where I will stay. Also looking to check out Why Not Bar. I am for sure looking for top LB to play with. Any suggestions for the Soi 11 area?

That Aira hotel looks nice, I really like the look of the pool. Almost all the hotels in this area are guest friendly but there is still a few exceptions and some may charge you a fee for guests. Best to contact them and ensure that they allow ladyboys and if there is a fee. Since they are close to the bars it likely is guest friendly. However all the bars have short time rooms you can use if necesary and there is many independant short time hotels around.
Be sure to leave us a review of that hotel.

You will find tops at all of the bars. You can ask the manager or mamasan when you arrive so they can direct you to the type of ladyboys you are looking for. In my experience a majority of the ladyboys top because that is the most requested service by customers. So at any bar you should be able to find what you want. I know at Why Not bar Bow is a hung top with good reviews.

Coincidently Cindy was the last ladyboy in Thailand that topped me and she is great. Unfortunately she now runs that bar with her boyfriend, otherwise I would definitely recommend her.

Why Not is probably the best bar for those new to the scene. It is more relaxed and less pressure than other bars.

Most of the ladyboys there are likely to be willing to top you. Their X page shows the many ladyboys they have and most are tagged as tops.
