The original Bar is Check-in Bar on Soi 10. The original Check in started as a portable bar (alco-cart) about 25 years ago. June the owner would run a small bar on the street back in the days they used to allow this on a wider scale. She soon moved into a permanent location on Sukhumvit then a number of years later moved to the current location.

I've never been to Check In 11 yet but the old Check in bar is probably one of the best ever. Why Not opened many years after Check-in bar. So if they continue the tradition in this new bar, it should be a great place to go. The original bar is not far away either.

This is for sure a bar I will be checking out when in town. Any reviews recently on this one? Check In Bar seems to be pretty hot from what I read.

Two years ago, I won the "Obsession Bar" award on the first floor of Nana Plaza. The owner, in broken Chinese, told my friend and me as soon as we entered that we each had to buy a drink for a beautiful woman. But honestly, I just wanted to order a few beers and quietly watch the women on stage. Meanwhile, inside the bar, a sexy woman was sitting on a man's sled, rocking wildly. Two minutes later, the man led her out of the bar, laughing. These days, I'd prioritize a more relaxed bar over feeling pressured to buy a drink for a beautiful woman.

In Obsessions everyone will try and get a drink out of you. The boss is often the first in line for a free drink.
If you are really generous ladyboys from other bars will show up, security guards and janitors too.

In Nana Plaza and on Soi Cowboy all the ladyboy bars are gogo bars. This means they girls dance on a stage in gogo style for you to choose from and for your entertainment. The ladyboys don't normally approach you much unless you request them by number.
Nana Plaza gogo bars do not have short time rooms inside and there is no longer any short time rooms for rent in Nana.
Generally gogo bars don't have short time rooms but occasionally they do. Cockatoo Gogo Bar on Soi cowboy had them when I went there 15 years ago but may not anymore.
Gogo bars are usually higher pressure for drinks and attention. The music is loud and harder to talk. Drinks and bar fines are more expensive especially at Nana.

Check in Bars and Why not Bar are 'lounge style' bars. I've found most of the lounge style bars have ST available. They may have shows or girls dancing but it is not the main focus of these bars. It's more like a sports bar with ladyboys. Often they have pool tables and Check in bar has always had 2 plus Why Not Bar used to have pool tournaments in their old location.
The music isn't usually as loud and there is more socializing going on with the girls wandering around like butterflies looking for a mate, or just having fun. Customers tend to be more friendly to other customers at lounge ladyboy bars. The drink prices and bar fines tend to be less at these type of bars and other fees more negotiable. They may also be more agreeable to taking pictures.

Any ladyboy bar will allow threesomes, if you are willing to pay 2 bar fines and other fees. You can take as many as you want but will you really get your money's worth?
If you really hit it off with a ladyboy don't ruin it by randomly grabbing a third. Often other ladyboys in bars will try to join in with you but I don't find it always works out.
Everywhere in Thailad has Long time and Short time.
Short time usually considered up to one or two hours, Long time is usually over night or from dinner time until very late.

Check In has a new location on Soi 11. Not awfully far from their bar on Soi 10.
