Before Christmas the third ladyboy bar on Soi Cowboy open. It is called Majestics ladyboy agogo and it is geared towards the Chinese.
I never remember seeing that many Chinese at ladyboy bars before but things must be changing. This apparently has the same owners as Wonderland Ladyboy bar in Nana Plaza, also for Chinese. You can see the Chinese on the sign.

When we were chatting with the ladyboys in Manila, they mentioned that there were so many Chinese guys, they started learning some Chinese phrases. One girl talked about topping a Chinese guy saying, "I fucked him like a rag doll!"

Japanese used to be the big spenders in Thailand and maybe still are. I just can't remember seeing many Chinese out around bars all the years I was in Thailand.
You would just see bus loads of Chinese coming and going from hotels and tourist sites. They always had Chinese owned hotels they stayed at and Chinese entertainment places that they were taken to. I guess they are more mainstream than when last I was in Bangkok.

Chinese has always had a strong influence in Thailand, it just wasn't that noticable.


Thailand has been gaining popularity amongst Chinese since this movie came out in 2012.

That's really interesting! It’s great to see Soi Cowboy getting some fresh energy with new places like Majestics. Amazing how the scene keeps evolving — catering to the Chinese crowd like a smart move too, considering how much tourism from China has grown. I’ll have to check it out next time I’m around. Thanks for the update!
