Bangkok LB go-go bars

My last visit to Bangkok was in January 2020 but I will be back there again in a few weeks. I read the posts by YuiSWD View Post and rxpharm View Post with great interest. If any member has current information on the bars in Bangkok I would appreciate an update. What I gather is that Why Not bar is still open? What happened the good old Guess bar? Any other new bars outside Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy in lower Sukhumvit?

Why not bar is still open as is Check in bar.

Guess bar used to be across from Nana plaza in the Rajah hotel complex. Guess bar closed around 2015 and then the location became Chaos 9 bar. The Rajah hotel complex was since torn down and new complexes built so Chaos 9 moved to somewhere in the Asok area. Then in around 2017 Chaos bar reopened on Soi 4 (Nana). Not sure if Chaos 9 is still open there.

There is definitely less Ladyboy bars in Bangkok compared to before Covid.

Well Mikael, let me give you my opinion about the current status of ladyboy bars in Bangkok (last visit September 2024), so quite recent!

Cindy's Secrets (located in small alley opposite of Mercure Hotel in Soi 11) is still open, and doing better than ever. Over 20 ladyboys on staff and like mentioned before, after midnight multiple beautiful freelancers hopping in for a drink as well. I recently posted some of the staff in the Cindy's thread her on the forum. Cindy herself not always around (because she also has a bar in Pattaya), but the vibe in the bar is always pleasant. Two pooltables (free of charge, acceptable prices) and not too pushy. Girls will line-up when you enter, but will not hassle you when you want to have a drink first. Many of the girls are Cambodian, very sweet, but English can be challenging.Together with Why Not, my favorite bar! Barfine = 600 THB.

Why Not bar is located in Soi 4, a little further down the Soi than the Soi 6 alley. After the passing away of one of the owners at the end of last year, place had a tough first half year, but with high season coming up and Nam (current owner) fully operational again, the amount of lbs working also around 20 again. Some very cuties in the service staff as well, which won't mind a barfine either hehe. Good vibe, two pool tables (also free of charge), great music, outside seating possible. Some of the new girls lack proper English skills, but their appearance makes up for it! Many girls from Laos on staff, totally not pushy. Together with Cindy's one of my favorite bars. Fair prices.Barfine = 600 THB.

Obsessions is located in Nana plaza, ground floor. In general, I prefer lounge bars over Go-Go's. Very pushy for drinks, but quite good quality in girls. Targeting mainly on Japanese/Korean customers though. Barfine = 1000 THB. Vibe isn't really inviting, many of the girls just playing their phones on stage, instead of dancing. I left after one drink.

B52 is the new name of DC10 bar, like Obsessions a Go-Go bar. Quality of girls is poor, had a glance inside, very quiet. Didn't fancy to go in at all. Feel free to check it out, can't recommend the place.B52 is located in Nana Plaza, one floor up. No clue about barfine, but drinks are quite expensive (like whole Nana Plaza).

Chaos 9 is like Why Not located in Soi 4, a little further down the Soi, on the opposite side of the road. About 10 ladyboys on staff. It's very dark inside. Girls talk very little English, prices are fair. One pooltable on the first floor).

In Soi Cowboy there are currently two ladyboy Go-Go bars. Shadow and Cockatoo. I didn't visit them, because of my dislike of Go-Go's. But a year earlier, when I gave them a try, quality wasn't too bad, but very pushy mamasan's in both places.

Check In bar is located in Soi 10 (take first alley to the left). In terms of numbers, no one beats CIB. At least 30 lbs on staff and 6 service girls onsite. Some real lookers, some newbies, some 'veterans'. In short, something for everyone. Music is good, two pooltables (20 THB per game). Girls can be quite pushy, especially the service staff.
Barfine system is complex. Prices different between before/after midnight. Service staff 2000 THB before midnight, 1000 THB after midnight. Regular hostesses 600 THB for short time, 1000 THB for long time.

Obsessions always has a supply of hot ladyboys but you end up paying alot but usually fun. The boss always makes it interesting.

It was Fah. I found her at Check in bar then took her to Why Not Bar.
Someone posted on here that she has boobs now....
