Hi Mardhi,

in one of his last posts Stogie declared the Guess Bar ' smoke free' February onward. I did not know that he is in the position to do so . Maybe you can clarify whether it is only one of his fantasies or do the smoker really have to look for alternatives.

Effective sometime in Mid February ALL bars in Thailand that are airconditioned will go non smoking.    It remains to be seen how it actually works out, however I suspect it will because the fines are steep.  Guess is not so badly affected as they have the outdoor seating area but other completely enclosed venues may feel the pinch.
