What would you like to see at Guess

I sometimes take photos, for promotional use and with permission of the bar, and I am VERY careful not to get anyone's face in the picture.
I never post a photo with anyone face, even if they ask me to.

Ideas:

1) A black room at the back of the Guess bar (from what I ve read there is more space now) for people to have their intimate moments

2) Start a production of a Porno movies (DVD) with the Guess bar logos...

So then Snick is the exception to Jay's "no photo" rule I guess. There should be one policy or another. Either no photos when customers are in the bar or photos allowed. Snick seems like a nice guy but I dont know him from Adam and dont trust anyone taking photos while I am in the bar. I'm sure there are others who feel the same way. Granted I only go to LOS once or twice a year but just thought I would throw that out there.

There are plenty of guys like yourself that only get to Bangkok a few times a year, and I'm certain they all appreciate being kept updated via all the candid photos taken and posted on the forum throughout the year.

Such photos are an important part of promoting the venue, and without the publicity Guess Bar has received via this forum and others, I question whether the place would still be in operation.

With regard to the photo policy, I think that the current policy is fine providing those given permission are professional, and avoid taking photos with customers in shot.

Jay has always allowed me to take photos at Guess Bar, however once the place starts to fill with customers that aren't familiar faces from the forum, I generally put my camera away.

I appreciate that for a whole host of reasons many guys are concerned about being photographed in a LB venue.

Snick has been taking photos in Guess since day one and we all appreciate his candid snaps.

On no occasion has he ever posted a pic with a customer on it, whether they wanted or not. Thats why he has special dispensation.

He doesnt want his pic out there and respects all of our privacy.

I would rather have one guy (or 2 including monkeyman) who I trust than no photos at all.

There are many guys who read here who dont get the chance to go to LOS for one reason or another and the pictures are a nice way of connecting places and bars, and making them more real to them.

No problem them taking photos of all of the girls at any time but at no time should any part of the mongers body be placed in a photo...published or not.

I did ask Jay permission to take photo's of my avator in her bar on my last trip and it was not a problem because she know's me (I think )

But "Alas"there WILL always be "people" taking "sly" vids and pics on their camera phone's  that maybe will end up on the internet, so its the "risk" you take going into girly or lb bars with the technology about these day's

Yeah, I suppose its part of the risk of going into those bars but if I catch a guy taking a photo with a camera phone, he's going to get a punch in the mouth and a broken phone.

i'll probably get hammered for this, because i know the bar's purpose is to be different than the gogos, but the main reason i go to the gogos is to see the girls dancing, i can then pick who to buy a drink and chat up. i wouldnt mind a small stage where 2 or 3 girls danced a few songs then switched. i'm not talking all the girls dancing all the time. that just wouldnt suit the place. but it makes it more acceptable to just watch the magic of these women.

Yep, and I am one of them. I feel exactly the same way. Published or not, I do not want to be on someone's hard drive. Costass seemed like a nice guy when he first came on the forum....then looked what happened!

I was in Goldfingers with Mardhi Sunday night. Mardhi was sitting chatting to Bob the owner, and I was sitting beside both of them. I turned my head away from the stage towards my drink and.....bang, flash goes off in my face. The owner is taking the f**king photo, and if I was not in it, it must have been pretty close.

Wallet closed, check bill, bye bye......and Goldfingers is now at the bottom of my list of bars to visit and spend my money in. If any camera comes out in Guess bar, i will do the same. I can't reduce the risk to zero, but I can reduce it.
