Blimey do they still publish VIZ? I used to love reading Private Eye - not even sure if thats still published or even if I would know any of the people they are talking about these days.

Car Magazines are good as well (What Car, Top Gear etc)

              Cheers

so is that ONM on the paperbacks?
that leaves me with 5pounds of carry-on space for any other requests -- that don't involve sausage.

                    What's ONM?

Paperbacks and magazines are always a treasured and welcome thing to get in Thailand. Magazines are difficult to get (except for the really popular ones) and paperbacks are obscenely expensive.

I appreciate all donations... and so do many other expats that live here, because once I'm done with them they get circulated and exchanged amongst other guys that live here too!

A Walmart super-size container of Kraft Parmesan cheese. Can buy it here, but it's 9 bucks American for an 8 oz. container! While it's not as nice as a good, fresh Asiago or Parmesan, it serves the purpose.

Buy the locally produced Parmesan block from Foodland - its surprisingly good and a quater of the price of imported. The Foodland 'Parma' ham is also extremely close to the genuine Italian product.

                        Cheers
