This Would NEVER Happen In Any Other Bar

Several evenings ago I was enjoying Guess Bar and the girls and left after paying my bar bill and receiving my change...or so I thought...

Last evening I was again enjoying Guess and after several drinks when it was time to move on, I asked for my bar bill and was presented with a stack of baht...My change that I had apparently left behind on my previous visit...

I was a bit confused at the time (like always...although my avatar added to the confusion) and didn't fully understand what had happened until this morning...

Where else in all of Thailand would this happen...or for that matter...in any other part of the World...

A belated thank you Jay and Staff...In my mind this act truly sets you apart from all others...

last Nov. went toMyanamar Embassy, very early, to get visa. Got out of taxi and into Q, after a few minutes the cab pulls up and motions to me to come over, he has my phone which had come off belt. Offered him 200baht refused it.

Afew years ago girl friend left purse in taxi no money but passport. She goes off to police to file report while I wait at hotel. About an hour after we arrived a different driver appears with purse and passport. The original driver had gone off shift and asked the new driver to bring it to hotel. Offered baht and refused again.

Believe it are not there are honest people in Thailand.

same thing happened in soi 7 last year....paid check bin 400 bht with 1000 bht note got distracted and had to rush away...went back next night and mamasan had it in her purse to give me back....amazing as wasn't expecting to get it back and wouldn't have worried anyway so gave her 100 bht tip

That's so nice to hear although, I have to say I would not have expected anything less from those ''guys''.

Although Guess is a nice comfortable inviting place, the staff make it that extra special, especially once you become familiar to them.

Jay should be very proud of what she has quickly achieved and her advisor also deserves plenty of credit.
