4th of July Celebration

I read on another thread I think that there was going to be a 4th of July celebration at Guesse .

Is this true ?

Also is it for the same reason an american would celebrate or some Thai holiday that I am unaware ?

Seem's a lot of people in Blighty also seem to know what date St Paddy's day is and NOT St George's Day

And all I know about July 4th is that its KL's BIRTHDAY
