the last time I came and left my wallet on the bar desk when i went out for a pee they copied all my Euro notes. Now in Thailand exist many copied Euros. Be careful.Comment

it's surely safer rather than to go to guess bar where LB are often drunk..and if you stil have any doubt on safety go upstairs to ST rooms and you will see what is a whorehouse or brothel if you prefer. We have different point of view of safety sure !

mardhi may be right, this does sound like a wind up.
Sounds like someone may have an axe to grind.
Disclaimer: I have never been to Thailand nor have I ever been with a ladyboy, but I want to do both!
The Guess Bar sounds defintely like my kind of place!
There is tons of info all over the web about this bar(not just in this forum), and from what I have read most discussion about it is positve! (Yes veteran members, this newbie knows what the search function and google.com are for! )
Most posts that I have read that were less than glowing were about other topics other than safety. No lb's there at that time they particular liked,they don't like Bangkok, they don't like laid back lounges, etc. I have yet to read any(other than this one) that questioned whether or not it was safe! I truely beleive that if it was considered unsafe, the veteran punters here and other places would not be shy about letting us know it!
I am currently working my way out of debt(long story) but when I do and get to LOS, my only dilemma will be..do I go to Bangkok and see the Guess Bar and Nana(Obsessions sounds good..been reading alot of nice things about that place as well.), or go to Pattaya and vist 131, Stringfellows and walking street(the laid back party atmoshere does appeal to me). Decisions, decisions.
This is not a slam against anyone, so I apologize to any and all that took offense.
