(stogie bear @ May 02 2007,03:24) But the rooms over The Guess Bar are fantastic for short or long time... cheap too. 650 Baht all night or 350 for a couple of hours...
650 baht for all night is a GREAT deal, but have you ever heard of people making a reservation to stay at Guess Bar for a few days though? If I stayed there for a few days, they'd be taking me out on a stretcher.....haha. 3 days in bed with Joy.....OMG, I'd be dead, but what a way to go though!

As a first timer i think it would be wise to stay near the action (btw you dont want to be freaking out walking back to a hotel wondering what people are thinking ) five to ten minutes of unnecessary torture .
so I€™d recommend the Landmark . Right near Nana !
As I have stayed at both the Majestic Grande and the Dynasty Grande I would agree that its qucker to walk than the 10 and 15 minutes quoted to get to the Guess Bar.
Theres nothing like a "spring in your step" en-route to the beauties awaiting you there
Your got yer Mother in a whirl
Shes not sure if your a Boy or a Girl

daveduke007, don't you hold the record for the fastest sprint to the Guess Bar from MG/DG? 5 min flat! Now that is a real spring in the step! Must be all the practice with the stretcher on the football pitch!
(kevin478 @ May 13 2007,05:14) Where did you get that rate for JWM Dirk, I usually check
ASiaRooms., and nothing near that, thx, kevin
Sorry Kevin, missed your question earlier. Anyway I nowadays always check first from the hotel's own website because the special rates there are often better than in any agency's page.
