Actually - the Tomcat is right on the money. Despite my own miserable solitude there are many regulars here that love this time of year and go off and have a great time. Ladyboys also enjoy the melee!

Hot spots are the Kao San road areas but grab a few lbs or follow them to where they go for kicks, buy some water guns and get soaked!

A couple of important things to remember, though... Put your mobile in a plastic bag and NEVER EVER EVER lose your temper with any over zealous Thai lads who single you out for a soaking!

It's just a bit of fun and if you are a misery guts like me then stay indoors.

I was told a good tip if you have to go out is to put your mobile in a condom, wipe the slime off it first but apparantly does an excellent job.

l'm off to Chiang Mai and l have been told to expect the worse.

Martin, Chiang Mai is great during songkram just go with the flow. I had a great time there last year.
As some little Thai fucker approaches with a bucket of water wait till the last moment then grab the rim and dush the fucker. Howls of laughter from his friends as they let you have it. The only thing I didn't do was to pick up a Thai by his shoulders and place him in the 55 gal. barrel.
Actually the Thais are pretty cool about the whole thing it is the backpacker trash that get out of hand.

OK guys Jay filled me in on what she is doing over the holiday period. Basically the bar will be open however she is mindfull that many of the girls may wish to go up country. Certainly not all of them and from what I understand, Jane at least is not planning on going anwhere. The bar will NOT be open in the daytime - they will be opening the bar around 6pm - basically to avoid getting soaked. Incidentally this applies for the dates of the 13th and 14th April, which are the primary days for water fights.

Must admit I tried both nights with no luck - sitting at airport now on way out so missed again....

Ended up with Am for second time. She is well worth the effort - real sweet. She is in Cascades. Went with another from Cascades last night (cannot remember her name but she is darker skinned, silicon boobs, longish wavy hair, pretty from a distance but not particularly nice complextion close up) but was disappointed even though she took my cherry! Pretty much no real interaction whereas at least Am works for her money....

Oh well maybe next time for guess...
