More staff starting at Guess bar

Jay has hired another 5 salaried LB hostesses who will be progressively starting between now and early February. This takes the total number of employed hostesses up to 15 + now 7 (up from 6) freelancers who come and go as they please. We will try and get some photos asap and post them here when they are ready.

Just my pennies worth. Have been to the Guess Bar about every other night during a ten day visit to B'kok and I cannot say enough good things about it and the girls working there. The new barman (unlike the old) is friendly and efficient and the girls are all gems. Friendly, fun, nice and are they sexy?! Lets all support it, Jay really deserves to win this one.

Unless something has changed in the last few days - its the same guy, although maybe he found that copy of "cocktail" I suggested he should get to learn how to better interact with customers.

That girl makes Imelda Marcos look like an occasional shopper thats for sure.

Has anyone seen her wearing her new leather skirt??? Looked damn hot when she was trying it on after the last shopping expedition.

May be I was drunk but the guy there now is not, or at least I think he is not, the guy depicted in the photograph given by daveduke007 on 16/1/07. If he is the same guy then I certainly think his attitude has changed.

The new bartender Jay hired is now working as one of the hostesses due to the attention she got on her first night. A career change was deemed to be in order, so afraid to say Stogie its still just your favourite behind the bar.

Damnit! I was there on Wednesday and she was serving drinks I believe. All I know is that I ordered Johnnie Walker on the rocks and I got one hell of a drink! Looked like a double. And I had three of them, all of the same quantity. I was VERY pleased about that since I had been drinking quarter-shots of Chivas in Nana all evening.

Of course I understand maybe that's not so good for business... not only in the cost of the alcohol, but that I got so hammered I couldn't barfine anyone... I was so smashed I couldn't get it up w/out tying it to a popsicle stick.

Sshhhhh - Its only Stogie that gets short measured - you think he would he realised by now thats he's not wanted

But if it was a LB pouring, was more likely Jay than anyone else or at least thats what I would have thought - and there is a direct correlation in my experience to how many drinks the bar staff have had to how big the customer drinks end up being - After 3 Long Island Ice Tea's Jay has a tendancy to forget using the measure and just pours like an inch of spirit into the glass.
