The new GUESS BAR forum...

Well - here it is... yet another forum to keep tabs on.

I thought long and hard about this one and eventually decided tonight to give it a shot.

I thought that The Guess Bar would just die of natural causes after a few weeks but it doesn't look as if I am going to be right about that!

If public opinion goes against me on this then I'll move all the threads back to their original forums and scrap it. If the response is favorable then we'll keep it.

By the way - welcome to the two new mods for this forum, monkeyman and mardhi...

Well - come on then... let's have it. Do you care? Will it work? Can we make it better? Should I bar fine Cindy later today... hmmm... I'm drifting!

What swung it for me was the more times we referred to The Guess Bar than we did Big Dogs. It seems that despite the view, Big Dogs is a place we seeem to walk past rather than meet at.

Anyone else feel like that?

Do I care?  NO
Will it work?  Yes - probably.
Can we make it better?  As it will probably take on a life of it's own I guess that is a moot point.
Should you bar fine Cindy?  Up to you!  


As you say it appears that the Guess Bar has taken over from Big Dogs as the most mentioned location.
A place we walk past?  Herself would probably go boogaloo if I went further into NEP than Big Dogs

Guess bar is the flavour at this time i suspect that after a while when the dust settles big dogs will reamerge .

Guess bar is change from the normal bar its attraction is the new ness but it will never be able to attract the 30-40 girls in its doors to work.

Will try it out on my next trip.

One forum for all bars would be, IMHO, the best compromise. That way you won't have people demanding equal time for something as a daft as, God Forbid, a "Hi Boss Forum" .

good idea in theory, problem I see with this though is that the mods on here will be spending forever moving topics from wherever to the new forum

For (at least) 3 reasons IMHO is a great idea to have the forum Guess Bar on this highly recommend site:

1st - Having a look at the numerous threads concerning this new bar is much better to have it all in one forum.

2nd - Because is without doubt the hottest place in town.

3th - Jay and her stuff deserve all the (good) publicity that they can get.

I voted 2 Good idea.... whether it lasts or not, with all the threads everywhere it was getting a little hard to keep track.... If it doesn't, well everything gets moved back...click click click...no great pain.

Full marks to a man who goes with the flow.
