The Guess Bar sucks... I went there once on a Wednesday just after lunch and it was empty.

(Hayabusa @ Sep. 02 2007,13:03) I can only tell you from my experience that if i say Suk 1 plaza, 90% of the time the taxi driver doesnt know where it is
Thai Taxi drivers often don't know where anything is !
I had a cab get lost going from Thong Lor (Sukh 55) to Ekami (Sukh 63)...and that was with me and 3 Thais in the cab; and whenever I give an address on Ratachada - they always take me to a massage parlor.

          Obviously your reputation preceeds you!

I got a taxi from the new airport a few months ago and the taxi driver wasn't even able to find the top end of Sukumwit 71 without instructions

(It's one of the major road junctions in Bangkok - think of a London taxi driver not knowing where Picadilly Circus was.)

(TTChang @ Sep. 02 2007,14:27) C'mon guys - I dont think KK was being over defensive, just stating his opinion ...and no flaming at all.   But I've spoken to a few new posters who take criticism of their posts personally and wont post again.

So, if we're not careful, we will end up with a private club, not a vigorous forum with new views encouraged and opinions shared.
I don't believe my original post was either insulting or offensive to Hayabusa, merely an attempt to put across an alternate perspective to the points he raised in his post.

Certainly don't wish to discourage new members from contributing to the forum.

            Cheers

..after almost one year in operation, it would be an interesting marketing survey to ask the customers during the course of a few weeks/months how they came to hear about the Guess Bar. Would be any easy enough question to ask when serving a drink..."I haven't seen you in here before, thanks for coming in, and by the way, how did you hear about us?" We do it with all our customers we have and helps us decide on where to spend advertising/marketing $$$. No doubt Jay already has a count on bar fines and drinks sold and knows her "break even" amount. Getting more people into the club doesn't necessarily mean more bar fines but probably means more drinks sold.
                ....so,  you're really a guy?..............

i'm probably in the minority, but i've always hated going to NEP or PP for LBs. the mad rush you get upon arrival, the push to barfine someone right away and the walk of shame among other hassles. some guys love it, but it's not my thing...

imho, guess bar is awesome. it's almost as if jay/ mardhi, etc read my mind about how cool it would be to have a laid back LB bar with nice girls and located (just) a little off the beaten track.

Went to Guess for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Stogie gave me a nice introduction and I was well taken care of by the sexy Jenny.

Being new to this (only have experienced escorts before) I must say it was a very relaxed experience. Recomended to all you others thinking of finally getting from dream to reality.

there is a difference between an escort a bargirl and a hooker? A rose by any other name is not a rose????

Glad you enjoyed the Guess Bar.....quite a warm and welcoming place........

Yes there is, to make a call from your hotel room is so much easier than walking in to a bar!

If you read anything else into it - sorry, English is not my first language.

I understand what you are trying to say but I don't think there is any difference. I mean is a mobile mechanic and different than the guy who you take your car to for your tune up in the what he does. They both tune your car.

Depeds how you are judging the experience.

If you are judging JUST the sex part (or the car tuning part), then it is the same

If you are talking about the whole process from the method and source of service provider right through to the shag/tuning, then lots of differences, and different people are going to have different preferences

                                Shag example 1

Wandering into Casanova, getting mobbed and groped ( ), pressured to buy drinks and pay barfines, walk through Nana Plaza with Talesha and her thigh length silver boots on.....then you gat drilled into the mattress for an hour!

                                Or.....shag example 2

Glass of wine in and in nice hotel room, surfing some escort sites, see picture of Talesha, give her a call, no groping/drinks/barfine/nana walk issues, she arrives discretely at your hotel room......then you get drilled into the mattress for an hour!!

                                Same same?
