Guess Bar Improvements

I am not in the Bar business, so i have no idea what its like to run one, it strikes me as being a bit of nightmare! How to improve the Guess Bar, I quite like it the way it is thanks. Thoroughly enjoyed every visit. ( & Eats's big cock )

Maybe there should be a Big Dogs type bar near the entrance to Guess where we LB lovers could watch them go to work, then go up to Guess and enjoy some time with them. Unfortunately, I have not been to BKK such Guess opened and will not be there for 2 more months but it appears that KFC is very nearby. Maybe Jay could work out something with KFC to construct an outdoor bar along Sukhumvit. She could operate the bar, receiving all income from the spirit sales and the punters could also order KFC to be brought out to the outside bar with KFC receiving the proceeds from the chicken sales. The best of both worlds. With the KFC sales, the ladyboys would also probably spend alot of time there on their way to work and KFC could also charge for ladyboy foods (like LB drinks, Ha Ha).

Another suggestion. Inside Guess Bar could have a coffee bar. The customer chooses his favorite LB and takes her to the "coffee corner". He pays $10.00 for a nice cup of hot, fresh coffee. The ladyboy would then be required to take out her dick and whip up some nice, fresh cream and she has to squirt it in the coffee. For an extra $5.00, the customer gets to whip up her cream.

Measures should be at least 25ml, and also it is easier this way as bottles come in 70cl (28measures), 1 litre (40 measures) and 1.5litre(60) etc so there should be no wastage.

However, we now serve 35ml measures at my pub and even though a little more expensive the customers seem quite happy with that as they dont feel the need to buy double measures to increase the taste of their drink

Dont mean to hijack the thread but measures probably are the MOST STUPID fucking thing dreamed up but the Empire!!! HATE THEM but know the reason for them.....

Ive not been yet but one of the biggest problems for me is the location, never been any good bars in the complex and maybe one or two bars of good standards would help Guess bar.

I have been doing the job full-time for 11 years now and know the regulars habits inside out.
I too "clock" them when they are nearing the end of their pints and a fresh one is awaiting them as they come to the bar, which they appreciate.
I work a lot by myself, and sometimes yes you will get 5 or 6 customers come to the bar at the sametime, this will happen on occasions and then its all about know how on where the pumps are and then being able to serve 2 or 3 customers at once

Never been to Guess bar so can't really comment except to say it's only been open for less than two months, so it's still pretty much in it's teething stage, I really wouldn't panic just yet, If it's gonna be a success it'll happen

Well thats true enough Mark - the rest of the complex has no decent bars but funny enough a surprising number of very good pool tables.

Each and every time I have been there I have either been alone or there has been a maximum of 2/3 other customers.

This poses a problem as there may not be sufficient, customers, tips, etc to bring the best girls in and more importantly keep them.

If you were running this place how and what would you do to improve it?

added: I just noticed I put this in the Picture Post Forum. I thought I was creating it in the News, Views etc Forum. Apologies in advance to whoever moves it, reads it etc.  

dont expect Jay to react overnight to any sudden ideas - she is very hesitant until the bar gets more established - the best thing to do is to keep supporting it if you like the experience (and so far the resounding majority seem to) - I do know that she is happy with the volume of revenue going through the bar and as importantly so are the girls that work there. I doubt you will see any dramatic changes anytime soon - it just takes time for things to pick up, but the fact that she is hiring another bartender and also 5 new ladyboys onto the staff would indicate to me that things are devloping exactly as she wants them too - but perhaps more importantly at a pace that she feels she can manage and control to ensure the product quality remains high and not have any major disasters on the way - her being so hands on is a major reason for its success so far - huge growth has caused many ill prepared businesses to fail - whats the saying "you dont plan to fail, you fail to plan". With this girl, its get the revenue in first, bank it and then decide what further enhancements are going to help the business grow at a manageable pace without causing the whole thing to collapse or turn off the core customers she already has and they number quite a few.

I can see this involving cracking open a full bottle of Jim Bean and by the time we finished it, we have no idea what the purpose was in the first place = then followed by in the morning. Remind me to bring the Alka Seltzer tablets beforehand.

Sounds like a good plan though - maybe Monkeyman can keep score - he is the only guy I know who can recall exactly how many drinks he has had the night before.

I agree with Stogie, the bartender is a little bitch. He always calls Jay over every 10 minutes, when i stopped by late one night she could barely have a conversation.
And yes he is very slow about pouring the alcohol.
I'd like to bitch slap him across the bar, the arrogant little fag.
