The bar fine is standard whether it is long time or short time. The bar fine goes to the bar, and if you try to negotiate it out of the price, then your lb of choice will have to pay for it out of what you pay her.

The NEP bars typically charge 600 Baht for the bar fine. I'm not sure what Cockatoo charges as it is located in Soi Cowboy, but it would be similar, and is owned by the same group that operates Temptations in Nana Plaza.

I can't remember the bar fine at Cockatoo as it has 3 years since i was there.
Plus I went to short time. Some places charge less bar fine if you take a short time room.
Not clear on either charge....

However the bar fine at Temptations last November was only $300.
At the same time Charades next door was $700.

Dropped by Cockatoo Bar for the Volleyball pre party a few weeks ago.
However it was not super exciting and we only stayed for a couple of beers.
Not too many customers or ladyboys around really, didn't see any of the hot ones we saw at the volleyball in the yellow bikinis.

If the ownership hasn't changed, Temptations in Nana Plaza and Cockatoo are owned by the same group. They use to rotate the lb staff between the 2 bars. This might explain why you didn't see them when you checked it before the LBWVB event.
