Stopped in last night after being impressed with all the pics of the talent on this thread. There was about a dozen girls on staff, and only 1 other BM that left after his beer was done. this was Monday about 10 or 10:30 I think. So nice selection to choose from.
Barfine is 750 bht now. Which seems high. But I'm pretty sure I fell in love last night and didn't ask many questions. I wasn't even drunk.

I'm sure it's 600 bht at most places, LB or GG. Including Cascades.

But It was also mentioned in this thread that it was 300 bht at Guess Bar, but that may have been a special.

On the other hand, it is a holiday weekend in the USA.  Price gouging for sure.

500b is the barfine in Guess bar for hostess staff and 750b is for service staff.

The barfine is higher for service staff (bartenders, cashiers, service girls)/PR team, as their primary role is to run the bar, not be continually barfined out. If you took someone who was on that team, then that is why the barfine is 750b. Oddly enough some people want the service staff, as there perception is that they have 'less miles on the clock' so to speak - and its totally up to the individual service staff if they want to go or not - they have no targets or minimum numbers they need to hit (unlike hostess staff) and a considerably higher salary than hostess staff (as they are there to run the bar, not to use it as a pick up joint).

I was thinking that maybe she had a special job function but wasn't sure. Like I have seen diff rates for door greeters on Cowboy. Owners don't want them to leave. Makes sense...

If she is wearing a pink or blue dress she is service. If she is wearing a black suit she is PR - the others behind the bar are rather more obvious. However if you went on a Monday, it would be easy to get totally confused as all the hostess staff wear black and look similar to the PR team.

But Cherry was wearing black body tube thing when I unzipped it. I'll have to go back and check out these important details in a few days...

Having worked in PR for over 25 years, I can confirm that the Guess Bar PR staff share no resemblance withe the luvvies I have had to deal with over the years... daaaaahling.

Jenny who will be known to almost everyone has just been appointed as the manager of Guess bar. here she is arriving in true Bangkok style in a tuk tuk.

And straight down to business with a discussion with the PR and service girls. Namely, Cherry (PR), Poopay (Service), Jenny, Beer (PR) and Cream (PR).

3 more staff starting tonight and pics will follow.

Moo is helping out behind the bar for a few weeks - will be interesting to see how that works out as NUT is still recuperating from having her appendix out.

Having known both Beer and Jenny since the early days of The Guess Bar in its original location, and with the caveat of the propensity of Beer to take Singapore trips, I would have probably chosen Beer as the Manager and set Jenny the target of tryimg to regain her place as the"Number One earner of Bar-Fines"
