This rumour may have started a few weeks ago.

It was indeed closed for one or maybe couple of days as i called in  and Jay just said closed with no explanation. Gong gave me a bumsteer as he told me it would be open.

and i also made a post which was deleted after i found out that it was local elections and Jay decided to close due to the no booze no punters scenario . .maybe the story got twisted and leaked into LB69

After spending a few nights in Bangkok this week - this is my take on what is happening.

Jay has drafted in Ex formerly from JSB/Linda Bar to help her run the bar and essentially act in a kind of mamasan role. Gong remains as the bartender and it would appear that Pancake is leaving to concentrate on her studies at University. They have a new temporary cashier and from what I saw, maybe another 4/5 girls had started this week. I believe Ex is planning on bringing additional talent in from Pattaya and up country or at least that is what she said to me. I have no idea how long Ex will stay around - she has done it as a favour to Jay to help her build the bar back they up - they are old friends and went to school together. On the nights I was there - I counted 16-18 staff in place. So with the new staff it will take up over 20. Two dedicated service staff are being hired as well.

I only had an opportunity to grab a couple of pics but will try and get some more when I am next in the bar.
