.. very nice additions Mardhi, I can see Yuki will be the head turner there, Gow & Ant would be my backups & of course there is Moo if you can get there before she is barfined, there's no lacking of talent to choose from so it should make for better times ahead for GUESS... it will be my 1st stop next month!

Well i was just there but Guess Bar did not look open. Went by there several times and there wasn't any movement at all.
Never actually pulled on the door, is it still open?

The site Midnight Hour in their Bangkok, 01 December 2014 report states:


After a brief closure last month, the Guess Bar is open, business as usual. Actually there is no guessing, this is a transgender bar.

So something is going on... why were they closed? Who owns this bar now? Why is the Facebook page gone and why was it in German?

Great photo of Jay from the old days of Guess Bar. I heard from Mardhi that Guess Bar was up for sale. Apparently business was not so good. Crag's visit and the problems with the Facebook page confirm somethings up. If it is sold/closed, the end of an era for what used to be the best lb bar in Bangkok.

gfelover, unfortunately Guess Bar is closed. However, it is reopened under new ownership and management and is now called Chaos 9 Bar and is still an lb bar - although with all new staff.

It is located in the Rajah Hotel complex, which is about 1.5 blocks away from Nana Entertainment Plaza.

The first photos are of Top - as reported earlier by a few board members, back to work at Guess Bar and not quite as annoying as she was in the past!

You would be better served to read all the posts in the topic. My post just above yours stated that Guess Bar is closed. A new manager and owner has reopened it as Chaos 9 Bar, with all new staff, so you won't find any of the lbs in the photos from Guess Bar working there any more.
