I agree with the article, its gone downhill in the last couple of years. Its always been a little crazy and lawless, but now its almost completely lawless.

Just read this  thread for the first time and the stories from the Post are pretty wild; not just for the sheer amount of stuff going on down there on lower Suk these days, but the fact that no one is stopping it!!

  I mean, it's always been a pretty crazy place......spent many-a-night there myself back in the day, and I remember one fun night with Pig Dogg and a few others, drinking Beer Chang until 3 or 4 and no one hassling us.  Which is GREAT for people like myself who don't like to be told when to go home, but these recent developments appear to have taken on wild west proportions.


        My question is; in ANY other city it would take just one or 2 high-ranking coppers on the night shift to drive by there a few times and report it back to their bosses and the place would be shut down; in BKK??  no way!!  someone is paying off the proper people for sure!

 partially agree with Kahuna on this, that it's just one more reason to avoid the smog, traffic, heat and hassles of BKK.  On the other hand, it would be cool to check it out at least a few times to see if these stories are typical or not; and maybe bang an Uzbeki hooker or 2??

I mentioned the same thing had been happening in the Bui Vien district of Saigon the last few years.
Interestinly enough they have had a crack down and shipped them all off somewhere else. Looks like they sent them to Soi 15.
I am writing this from Soi 11 and although the bars are as prevalent as ever, the africans seem less of a presence than they were 3 months ago.

All started with this Bar in Soi 11, now you find many .....  
Always a good hook up place for gg´s(farang and thai)  and Lb´s hookers and non p4p, after the disco´s are closed...
