On my last trip ( which was also my first to LOS - Jan 2009 ), my personal favourite of all the LB Bars was Obsessions. I think i fell in love with Bank there.

Carnival is picking up, they got some new girls and the customer traffic is picking up.
One thing about Carnival is that you need to go with a group, its not the kind of bar where I would go alone (too empty), BUT with a group of 3 or more it can be a lot of fun.

I went once and will never go back - the place felt more like KC3. Too much high pressure from the waitress to buy ping pong balls. I was polite and said no thank you but she kept pushing them in my face - after multiple no thanks you - I paid my bill and left my drink and never looked back.

Maybe high pressure pushing works on some guys, but for me, I walk out. If I say no 3 times and they still push, that is my cue to depart.

Sure wish bar managers would take note as they are loosing business...

No doubt Mike. That ping pong ball shit is annoying to the customer and degrading to the lbs who are forced to scrounge for them when some customers throw them up for grabs instead of politely handed them out as a tip. I'm told the girls don't even get the full amount, the house has a take on that too.

There was some Jap ( lets face it they started it) throwing bundles of bahts outside the Lollipop bar high into the air causing a great big crowd to appear.. there were guys crawling on the roofs above the bars looking for loose notes and general chaos for 30 minutes

Ping Pongs balls eh!...anyone entertained by that needs there brains blowing out...
