NEP Bar fines for Dec. 30,31 and Jan 1

For those guys who have plans to barfine any girls (gg or lbs) from NEP bars on Dec. 30, 31, and Jan 1 - the barfine will be 1000 Baht.

While in the past it has been usually increased for holidays, I think this is the first time they've decided to cover 3 days.

So be aware, and you can plan some strategies to side step this like wait til the bar closes, or if she is a favourite and you have her number, make plans to meet her either before or after the bar hours.

The strategy (and this term is used loosely) is to reduce the temptation for the girls to skip out, bar fine themselves to party, and leave the bar without staff.

Of course then the punter also has to pay the increased bar fines for these days as a result.

Sounds like a good way of keeping the girls in the bars - and also of killing business!

I guess this was thought up by the Minister for Tourism.


I did hear that the Guess girls will have to pay 1000 to buy themselves out but I belive the barfine stays at the usual 500 Baht.

The guys at the TQ in Patts did this one year- put the BF up to B6000 (yes I have the right number of zeros!) The year before they had no girls left = no customers so they thought if they put the price up that high no one would be stupid enough to pay- buit some did!
