First off, let me say, I did not make that post with the intention of ENDORSING the use drugs... I was simply explaining the REALITY of the situation here in Thailand as far as drugs in the ladyboy sex industry.

I am not a doctor, so I don't really deal with patients, nor do I have any role in "treating" someone... But I do have PLENTY of experience dealing first hand with countless ladyboys, and everything I said is based on that REAL LIFE experience, and I stand by everything I said.  

My responses to your comments on my points:

1)  Yeah, there is a price to pay for doing drugs.. you described it as "feeling washed out" -- yep... very similar to the price one pays the next day for drinking too much the previous night...

2) Yes, I am aware that chronic users often do lose many of the "positive effects" of certain drugs after prolonged use... You mentioned that not being able to get erect is one of them...  Yes. True. Kindof a catch 22 really... Speedy drugs tend to make people horny while at the same time making it more difficult for them to get erect... I suppose the ladyboy can then just get ask the customer she is with if she can use some of the Viagra that he is most likely using...   (I realize its not safe -- just pointing out that ladyboys often DO use Viagra as well.... Just as MANY of their customers do...)

5)  No, I don't spend time worrying about all of those things, because its not my job to.. I was simply pointing out the reasons that Xanax is typically used here...  Umm, Im getting the feeling you have no real life experience DOING any drugs... Your post had the feel of a textbook.. (I have no problem with that -- I personally think it is everyones RIGHT to take or NOT TAKE whatever substance they choose.)

6) I'm sorry if you disagree, but that will only prove your ignorance on the subject... I know for a fact that IS a reason (not the sole reason) that many ladyboys do ice.  Again, this comes from my 5 years experience in dealing with them on a daily basis...

I think its important to note that these ladyboys are often having sex with people THEY ARE NOT PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO.  And the use of drugs in some form (meth for its increased sex drive, and viagra for the physical erection) is simply required if they are going to get any customers.. because every customer of a ladyboy wants them to be hard, and usually to cum... Thats not necessarily the easiest thing  when your with someone you dont really want to be with...)

And that is nice that you live for 2 months with a ladyboy, but again, I standby my claim that methamphetamine does not make people crazy.. When you see the clips on the news of the bloody guy holding a knife to a kids throat in the middle of the street "because of ya ba" that is due to the psychosis and paranoia brought on (again) by SLEEP DEPRIVATION.. Yes, that sleep deprivation was brought on by the use of drugs, and that is why I mentioned that it IS sad to see someone who does drugs who cannot control themselves...

Dude, don't go  into the usual "just ask the parents of a 14 year old who died" sob stories... That type of shit happens with everything... i guarantee I can list for you 1000% more alcohol poisoning stories with the same ring to them... and thats not a conversation Im interested in having anyway... The point of my original post was to explain the realities of WHY the LBs do drugs (not saying its good OR bad) because I thought it was unfair for the people on this forum to say the things they were saying about certain people  because the simply don't understand the "full picture" of how things are... Many people are in some fantasy land where they think that 18 year old hotties ENJOY fucking 55 year old men... SORRY, life doesnt work that way...

I just got a PM from Harris making threats against me, including this often used threat:

"You wont have business and you wont be in Thailand, I will find you and fuck you up."

So I called Fern to ask her what it was about... apparently she got interrogated about if/when she has had sex with me and if she has ever done drugs with me.... And she gave the typical "Whyyy noooot?" answer... (sigh) She is going to come over and we are going to discuss the situation...

In the meantime Harris, I would suggest you take a deep breath, I have dealt with many jealous "boyfriends" in my years here, so this isnt new to me... But trust me... This isnt an avenue you want to walk down... And this is DEFINITELY not a reason to do it in the first place.   I have always responded to your PM's politely and with respect even though I could see that you are one of those jealous types... I really don't think what I do in my personal time (or what Fern does IN HER personal time) is any business of yours.

I never really understood why / how people get so jealous about what prostitutes do when they arent with them... I have lost (what i thought was) a great friendship of that before... I dunno... It just boggles my mind.

Either way Harris, I can let this first threat go as something you typed in the heat of some jealous discovery issue you have, but I would appreciate it not happening again.

And no, I am definitely not suggesting that they will all go down this path, but with such addictive substances it is inevitable that many can't be saved.

Yes it is true I never took any drugs because I simply don't dig why you need them. Only people who cannot face the world anymore need them. It goes for alcohol , it goes for ice/yabba and other sweets. Does that make me an outsider? No, from my profession I'm daily confronted with these poor souls ( no not lb's, in europe they are rare but human beings addicted on something. The main issue is that *these drugs are no solution because the effects in the end will put them out of that same scene in a short while. Most chronic users can work 1 or 2 years and then they are completely down the road. The occasional user is smarter and can work longer. But my experiences in pattaya and bangkok were that most are already chronic users. Sometimes shocked by their appearance after two or three months. Skinny, anorexia, strange eyes and tired or sleeping all day. Why? because pleasure seekers like you can never stop. Ever heard of the word respect. No only a few moments of joy that counts. Like a monkey in laboratory who's pleasure centre in his brain was constantly stimulated. That poor thing screwed himself to death. Is that your aim and do you need or demand from lb's yabba/ice to help you fullfill that wish. How sick can a person be Mr ladyboycrush?
