You can choose to go or not to go to any bar. Fact is they all have their strengths and weaknesses. *

I don't like Cascades not having a working aircon, being upstairs, or ability to get comfortable and talk to mates in the bar. *I can get over those things just like I can Guess Bar for its drawbacks.

Thats great they haven't had bm come back to them over something missing for 3 years. *However the no druggies claim very arguable. I'm not sure if Jasmine is still there, but she was and is definitely a druggie. *Calling another ladyboy for Ice at 5 a.m. definitely qualifies, especially when the ladyboy (a user) who she calls tells me she does for longtime. I know another who is still staff there who enjoys her yabba. *A blanket claim of drug free is far fetched for any ladyboy bar.

We all have choices and we all have opinions. This is a forum where we should be able to express them. Some people hate all ladyboy bars so they are the ones who use those high priced dating sites. There choice.

But the "Main" ingredient is "missing" and that  makes  the Guess Bar for what it "Is" or "Was"

Guess bar is the perfect place to have a quiet drink , meet friends and relax , it also has a nice bunch of (mostly) friendly and hot ladyboys with , very important ,no hassle or attitude problems .

Sure it has been quiet lately but name me a bar anywhere in Thailand that hasn't this year .

No bar will ever be perfect , maybe people expect too much of the place , it is just a bar and any bars atmosphere is made by the mix of customers on any given night .
If the place is busy the girls put on a bit of a show and are full of life , when its quiet the girls are pretty subdued that's how it goes .

Like my favourite bar back home I've had brilliant nights and I've had nights when I was bored .

At least people can air their views and make certain changes via this forum which is always healthy .

Sorry i should have qualified that by saying nobody I know is a druggie - anybody that was became history very fast - and my definition of a druggie is a person who regularly consumes drugs and its visible in their behaviour - to find a totally non drug using LB is next to impossible but that may be due to hormones among other things. Serious issues with illegal drugs have happened and these staff have become history very quickly.

By the way, I have no idea who Jasmine is and don't even remember someone called Jasmine ever working in Guess bar.

However having said that, its in the eye of the beholder and customer as to whether they like the bar or not - its not a gogo and has never claimed to be.

Not so rare i post these days but    with the Man Mr M, you dont like it fuck off and get a life...Guess Bar is and always will be the bar to chill, i agree it has lost a little sparkle but if you wanna try your local bar in Kentucky or Kensington good luck.......now back to my day job as a diplomat
