Strange that for a buddist country with all the superstitious beliefs they have in regards to karma etc. that they can do what they do and not blink an eye (being dishonest to thier "lover(s)". Is it just the bar girls who tend to be that way because that is how it has always been done? Are the LBs who aren't bar girls any different in that respect?
What happens to the LBs who have been chopped who in later years start looking more and more like men...do they lament not keeping it intact? lol

Which brings me to another question (more for Stogie Bear), why do you find the occasional picture of a LB with dick peeing in pictures but never any pix of the ones who have had it surgically removed? Maybe I should start a thread on that one LOL

JLT77, you have to realize that they don't see it as love. This is work for them, a job and there is no bad karma in working to help the family.

I would not go quite so far as sev7en to say they don't know love as we know it, but it is certainly different than our concept of "romantic" love.

Since you haven't been to LOS yet, I would suggest you do as much reading as possible to prepare yourself. It will be a fantastic time but you must also be aware of the possible pitfalls as well.

Actually I have been to Bkk and believe an have also had Eat. I'll have to post some pictures...

Of course next time to Bkk I will have to tray another part of the menu (so many dirty fantasies so little time especially at those cut rate prices in Thailand!)

There's some very harsh things being said here, that I don't feel are totally true, but I agree with what rxpharm says.

First and foremost, of course, we are customers. But that said I do believe there is genuine affection for different customers, dependent on how we treat and or connect with our chosen companions. Inevitably money will play a role in any further contact, but what do you expect, this is their job! And there are of course, hopefully many, exceptions to this rule!!!

The western concept of love is.... western! Love in Thailand can be as romantic as anywhere else. But do remember that the family comes first, and getting involved with a thai LB or GG, means entering their family. That generally also entails taking part in the family (and it's problems) and as a comparitively rich westerner that will inevitably mean taking some kind of financial responsibility. I don't feel there is any difference here between P4P and non-P4P girls, this would appear to be Thai culture!

If this is too much for you, fine. Then just keep to bar fining some of the many beautiful girls that are there for the taking. But there's no need to denigrate these girls or the guys that do find something verging on fondness for them.

Sure they may be whores, but alot of them are amusing and warm people who some other paying customers are actually fond of.
