The Guess Bar 2008 ~ A Review...

I wonder if they'll eventually figure out that the noise from the pool table players is the reason for this.

Or maybe it has more to do with the fact that smoking is now banned inside the bar?? At least 50% of customers smoke and the outdoor terrace has suddenly become even more popular than before - just need to install those new 400w speakers outside next week.

Actually - often overlooked - the service in The Guess Bar is spectacular, even if you are sitting out side!

One (or more) of the girls always seems to be around at the right time to replenish glasses.

Also- yippee, the bar (inside) is non-smoking, but when I was outside last night there were 8 of us and just one smoker!

Admittedly he was the kind of guy that was worth suffering to hang out with!

I liked the Guess bar,i never went to the old one so i can't compare them...
KC may be my home ground,but it's nice know there is another bar i can visit
no hassle a good atmosphere
and a chat with the other BM's ...Guess bar should be the first stop
for any first timers in BKK..The lads will point you in the right direction ..

It was My first stop & after that I never looked back,it ends up just like your local at home.Most of the girls know you after a few nights,the bar staff are very friendly & Jay will say hello most of the time ! LOL Great bar great location & full of good people !Even if the girls cant say Seamus !

Hah, thats´s true. After you left they ask me about you, and no one can say your name. And they call me Lick..
Fern asked about " friend you, look same you" , not sure if that´s a compliment to either of us.

I´ve tried to teach them to say Shameus.

I go the bar almost every night while we've been here, and Natalie about every second or third night depending on how her gestation is going.

I really like the bar for the girls, the atmosphere, the staff and the chance to chat with other board members.

I like the pool table, am not really bothered by the squealing and think the music is fine. I mostly hang out the front as suggested, because of the smoking inside ban.

Am going to miss Guess and all the crew when we return home...

Oh, and Natalie loves to chat with her idol Jay
