Seriously, the Japanese newhalf scene seems to be a vast undiscovered land. As far as we had contributions here on that matter, people never came up with any proper advises. Personally, I think there are loads of tgirls in Japan and the scene must be huge. Hard to discover, though, as everything in Japan is happening behind closed doors and speaking the language is for sure a major advantage.
There are a lot of PI girl pros working there and some of them extremely stunning. There was also a msn group "Gorgeous Tgirls in Tokyo", but is looks as they have moved?!

Japanese women my age in general make it a point to pay for themselves.

I'm more than happy to pay for a girl im on a date with, but I'm not so interested in the idea of just paying for a date, hah.


I see some lbs on the trains and such, I'm sure there are plenty here, but the behind closed doors thing is quite a barrier as a foreigner even though my Japanese is quite good.

I beg to differ. I've known several average American sods dating some of the most beautiful and interesting Japanese girls I've seen in Tokyo and Osaka. Don't get me wrong, my friends are great guys by any standards but they wouldn't get that sort of play in the States. I think the term I'm looking for is - dating out of their league?

If you go to clubs/bars a lot its very possible, but I never go to clubs and only go to bars with girls. I personally don't need to and I don't enjoy the average girl there.

Also, I prefer women in their mid-30s, and its hard to pick them up anywhere but at the gym, and sometimes randomly on the train etc, (Im 22, haha)


You can tell if a girl wants to talk to you by eyecontact. I try and make eyecontact with any girl I'm interested in, if I get it I try and hold it, if she stares back its a sure fire date if I talk to her.

The best place to pick up bijin is 109 in Shibuya, its a huge deparment store that caters to the popular girls styles, I strike out a lot there, so it takes a lot of guts, but literally 50% of the girls there are beautiful so eventually you can get a date, haha.

Well..it's all about being an expat in Far East. You can see tons of average guys with stunners allover the region.
However, consider that some of these average guys happen to earn well over 10K USD a month with plush apartments paid by the company and all other fringe benefits, and trust me THAT does make a lot of difference.
Others are simply lucky and some are smart-asses and would pick up a beauty queen even in the middle of the jungle.
Also, many of those pretty girls just date almost any foreigner for fun...say, the flavor of the week, but when they turn 27-28 they will look for a local guy and getting married..no more fun time

I should have written the whole thing more properly I guess.
Most expatriate packages includes a basic salary, that goes directly in to the bank account, of over 10K USD a month + a "fat" local pocket money for all living expensese + a good apartment fully paid by the company.
If they are in the banking/financing and hold a good position, also membership at the bank club/s and so on..
But that it's not me
I'm just a low budget expat
