Travel to Laos (Vientiene)

I am considering a trip to Laos and Vientine in paticular in the near future and would appreciate any advice on Laos and the Ladyboy action there.......

I read a few differing reports on different forums about sex with a Laos national and the concequences......

ie ...ending up in the Monkey House....(Jail)

one thing you should check is that your hotel is allowed to take guests .. which is rarely .. also many close at 11pm!!!! there's not much action, and quite frankly i was very happy to return to los. the action seems to be around a few bars. just ask. the taxis will take you there, and there will be laotian pimps/bfs that have their girls on back of their motorbike offering their services ..
you can and should obtain lao visa in bangkok, but you can also get in nong kai ..
