First two pics are the tiny cells of prisoners. Many inmates were also held in large mass cells and collectively shackled to a long iron bar. Third pic shows the building enclosed in barbed wire because prisoners frequently committed suicide by jumping down. Prisoners' shackles were also checked very carefully because many had managed to smuggle in objects for committing suicide.
