    China Visa

More on my friend travelling to China.

He will be leaving the States and staying in Thailand for 3 months before going toChina. it seems from googling around in most cases the Chinese Visa must be used within 90 days of issuance.

Is there a way that he can get the visa in New York more than 90 days in advance?

I assume he can get it in Bangkok?

    Anyone have experience with this?

You can get it in Bangkok, but it might take a few days (i.e. not next day like most visas).

Very easy to get in Thailand.

If memory serves, just about any travel agent in will do it for you for a nominal charge. No need to even go yourself to Bangkok if you're too "busy" in Pattaya.

I Hong Kong it used to take around two days i got the concierge to do it.
If its Business you need an invitation Letter from supplier

nowdays i get my travel agent in London to do it but it is costly

If its a day trip i was told you can get a day visa at the ferry port but never explored this.( i think i might next time)
