    Good US fares now

I ran across some fares ex east coast US that I think are as good as one can get now, & since I decided not to bite I'll share with the bms here who want to save some $$$.

AA prices & Kuwait Air, both from JFK/NYC, have decent prices now. The best I found on AA was $830 all in for March 2 or 3 for about a 2 week stay. What's nice besides the price is that both legs (inc. NRT/BKK) are on AA so that you get full FF miles for it. Perhaps others may match this.

I was tempted to book but have decided to go somewhere else this spring.
    Good luck

A very good fare indeed, if you are flexible about your travel dates.

FYI, AA between NRT and BKK is not a AA aircraft, it is Japan Air with a codeshare AA flight number, so you might want to check on the mileage accrual rules for that leg of 2800 miles.

As long as it is a codeshare you get full mileage.... if you booked the same flight with a JAL flt.# you would only get a percentage, like 50% or so, of AA points.

Spare wheel, I decided this is the year that I'm going to do tour I've fantasized about for years: touring the deep American South, which I have never done at all, hitting most of the music venues en'route.... Nashville, Memphis, Highway 61 & ending up in New Orleans for Jazzfest.

I'm leaving room for side trips & deep fried everything. Ideally I'll get a convertible to cruise this route.
