Divas in San Francisco

I will be in San Francisco for a weekend and thought I might try Divas (tranny bar). Anyone been there before. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I actually returned several times when I was living in the area once with another visiting
BM on a Saturday evening and there were some Thai and PI LBs there...In fact, the bartender
on the 2ND floor bar is/was a former Tiffany performer...

There are also some very ugly creatures...

It ain't even close to the worst Thai LB bar, but better than a sharp stick in the eye...

I enjoyed it, scored with a Vietnamese called Kim, but some Latinos there and if the more expensive divas are not enough street action in that part of the tenderloin must still be going on, but I guess all these places vary and maybe weekends from Thurs on is best -where else you going to go?

I finsih on the West Coast on a Friday and need to be in New York then Canada on the Monday. With the weekend free I thought San Francisco would be a good place to play.

Not sure if I fancy street crawling in the US - but Divas or Aunt Charlies may be the go if in San Fran. Also considered going to New Orleans.

Hey Nine. I know New Orleans and the only decent place there to chase trannys is Roundabout or Rendevous on St Louis in the quarter. Gets good about midnight

Oddly enough, I had a trip to SF booked for this summer and Diva's was on the itinerary, but I ended up canceling at the 11th hour. From what I'd read, you really needed to go on Friday or Saturday to get the full effect of the place, but the pretty girls were costly. Looks like I didn't miss much...

Is Rendevous the bar down the street & on the corner from Roundabout? I used to go there in the early 90's, last few times I was there, around 5-6 years ago, both seemed really dead.... heading back in the spring though & need new info.

Met this really gorgeous girl from Guam there once, waist length hair & rocking body & I was ready to head out with her when this big stretch limo stopped and the door opened & she disappeared inside the darkness, needless to say I was walking....

Anyone got any recent experiences with Divas?

I'm currently planning a summer vacation with a stopover on the West Coast of the US. Am tossing up spending 2 or 3 days in either LA or SF. Visiting Divas would definitely be on my list if I decide to stay in SF, unless people have any recent horror stories to tell...

LA has the edge over SF when it comes to TSs; however, if you do try SF, check out AsiaSF. It's pricey for dinner but they do a whole ladyboy show thing that gets good reviews. Divas is kind of hit and miss for me. Gotta be a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday and I wouldn't plan on showing up until at least 10:30. In LA, I'd definitely hit up Club Goddess on a Thursday night.

I agree it's much easier to find gorgeous trannies in LA, but..... to me San Francisco is one of my favorite cities in the world & I would pick it every time if I had to make a choice between the 2 places. Great walking town, lively arts scene, esp. music, great restaurants.... For me it's a no brainer, LA has it's points, but not enough & too much traffic everywhere.

I tend to visit SF annually for pleasure.

I also think there are more Asian lb's in San Francisco than in LA or it may just look like that...I think SF has a larger Asian population...not sure of the demographics...
