Shampoo Bar moving

I heard on the grapevine that Shampoo Bar will be moving to a new location on Jan 1st.

It will be in Burgos St to a bar that is called Mixed Nuts which is apparently next to Ringside Bar.

its on jan 8th, i went to shampoo as a customer this time... and mamasan told me they will move on jan 8th.

This topic has had no follow-up, and that is hardly surprising. 'Mixed Nuts' is a larger venue ... allowing for more unattractive TSs/LBs.  Mamasan "Mimi" is still the best looker BY FAR.  There are 2-3 hormone cuties that you have to look for lost as they are amongst gurls of wide girth, bad skin, sloppy attire.  

I will never "get" their 350-peso lady drinks ... never mind the 3,500-peso barfine.  [ One can walk down Burgos, go up to the next avenue w/ the 'Jollibee' on the corner, turn right and there are cuter gurls walking the street for a third of that, fer crissakes ... ]

BUT it must be making money as the new space is double the size and the staff is plentiful.  Go figure ...

... probably because they are the only club that features LBs & there isn't any other competition for them to lower their drink prices.. as for me I would find my P.I. LBs on the internet & go from there.. I think Cebu still has the largest number of LBs but i haven't had the time to scout that area yet.. Tan would be the best source of info right now where the LBs can be found in Manila..

I couldn't agree more --- just between DIA & TGD one can meet more than enough (even as hit-and-miss as that can be). In addition to Cebu, Angeles and Cagayan De Oro are full of ladyboy talent ... IF one does one's homework ...

There are dozens of gg bars ie lots of competition for each other, and drinks/barfine prices in those bars are all the same.

The reality is that the Burgos St bars are for the Korean/Japanese market

Also, the quality of the actual bars/clubs is far higher than the shitpits of Nana Plaza, so I guess the cost base is overall higher than Bangkok.

By the way, do any of the long time Makati residents know if the ladyboy boxing has returned to Ringside Bar?

The first post stated the move - it is now called Mixed Nuts on Burgos Street, next to Ringside Bar. This is in Manila, Philippines.
