I am planning on a trip to Indonesia, just for a change of venue. Can anyone help me with the best area for ladyboys and ladies. Are there any areas similar to pattaya where you have a variety of everything.

We get this question at least once a month these days
The clubs & bars of Kuta & seminyak in Bali will have working LB's, but be careful some are out to rob you.
Best advice is to have a look on vice sisters web site & pre book b4 you go.

if your in Jakarta, there is an area close to the Hyatt called taman lawang. lots of street walkers around a circut of streets
get a good taxi to take you round one of the big black ones at the major hotels is best as they will stand bye and wait you for as long as you like. be a little carefull as a few of them are nasty, most are great and love a bule(bule is a westoner)

Though the guys probably already gave you all the info you needed and i am a little late in reply i am going to try to add something regardless.

First of all there really isnt something like Bangkok in indonesia,either in Bali or Jakarta.

Secondly,in regards to Jakarta (even though i spend most of my time in Indonesia in Bali i have not had much experiance with the ladyboyscene down there yet because i am mostly busy with business or partying with friends chasing pretty tourist girls) tawan lawang if probably you best bet.Just rent a silverbird,let him drive you to the area,take a peak around (in the car to be on the safe side) an pick your poison.Though indonesian ladyboys are quit gorgeous there arent hardly as many as in either Bangkok or Pattaya.

As for venues,a good ladyboyfriend of mine took me to a paegent once but the whole thing was a little disapointing because
a) there where far more gay guys then ladyboys
b) quality of the show and the lights was somewhat lacking

There is one disco though,called heaven,that ladyboys sometimes frequent (they have shows as well which are nice to stake out ladyboys) but be prepared for a lot of guys/boys eyes on you because it is mostly a gay place (plus some lesbian girls to booth).All very friendly and not aggrasive at all but still.

Anyways a lot of girls in Jakarta have pages on places like face-pic.com and some of them have ads on adultfriendfinder.

One ladyboyfriend of mine (personally i think she is freaking gorgeous) goes to stadium as well with girlfriends when free (which in normal because it is pretty much the only club open after around 2' clock).This has to be your cup of tea though because it is loud,dirty,filled with pickpocketers and pimps and hoes.Plus a lot of people on drugs.Since i am still young and i like to party it is nice at times but i can understand why some people would not want to be found there ever periode.

Anyways i have to sample a lot of clubs for a friend of mine on this trip so i post some extra info on here if i know more.

a) still a lot of spots to discover
b) there arent that many to begin with

i will roam around a bit on Bali two in around two weeks and check some spots out (like Hulu and the girls around the bars) but i really doubt there is really a ''scene'' or anything comparable to thailand.

Have fun though and i will try and post an subject on Bali later on.

hulu cafe burnt and move to bali beach shark not far from there, but i'm not so sure about the crowd, never been there yet, probably australian.
best check out late night in Legian Street around Embargo and Bounty Club.. i heard that many girls hang out there now..
