While reading several weekend editions I came across this:
Peter Platel (43) a Belgian gay successful hairdresser was in Nepal visiting his ex friend in Nepal who's a human rights activist in Nepal (Btw I'm not gay, I'm only attracted to femininity).
His ex friend showed him the "transgenders" selling their bodies in the streets, cafés,... . There he got the idea to give them lessons in hairdressing and make up. Last year he went back to teach them but mostly to build up their self-respect as they are rejected in their society.
During the day they are attending his course, starting with holding the scissors and föhn,at night they are hooking. Some of his students are hiv pos., because when the customers pays well, they do it without. Despite all this they keep on laughing.
I know the story sound a bit corny. He does this volunteer work because it gives him a good feeling. Now he's bound for Nepal.
In the paper there are some pictures of the LB's, I remark a few real cuties.
Maybe a BM has been to Nepal and has a story and some pictures. In this thread I didn't find any up to date info
