Dubai Hotel info

Off to Dubai for a few days on route to LOS, managed to get very good fare and thought I would check it out for a change, not expecting to find much of interest to me, but you dont find if you dont look.

Any info on a reasonable hotel, not wishing to pay beach front 5 star prices as its a quick visit, however do not want to be stuck out in the desert.

Also my friends are staying on the beach and I would like to be a short taxi ride from them

Try checking Agoda, they have a good listing of Dubai Hotels, but I don't think you can get one for a good price only a few minutes taxi ride to the beach.

Personally I'd give it a miss......hotels are very expensive and the traffic is hideous.......I used to stop there fairly often but due to the above I avoid it like the plague........
