Anybody know much about the ladyboy scene in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia being a Muslim country, the scene is quite discreet. i used to live there, but now I only go back on holiday.

The "meat market" is in the back streets in Chow Kit, in what is known in the Jalan Haji Taib (i think) area. Squeezed between to main roads is 2 parallel one way streets, and there you will find all sorts of ladyboys. Mostly from Indonesia, although with the not-so-recent crackdown on illegal immigrants, i guess quite a few have gone home.
It is a poor and dirty neighbourhood. Although I have never had anything happen to me, it is a hangout for the drug addicts, thieves, pimps and hookers. The rear side of the medal of glitzy KL. The problem there is (in my opinion) that the malaysians are "starers". They see a beautiful LB, they either stop the car near her, or stand on the other side of the street and just stand a nd stare. Can be quite unnerving, and has stopped me from approaching a LB more than once.
The going rate is RM30 (for the cheapest ones) to RM100. What hey usually do is agree to a lower price then ask for more. I can get quite cheap as I can get by in their language.
Careful: not all use condoms. I have even had some who, in the middle if fucking, push me out, roll off the condom, then try to get me back in... If it is the case, think with your head, and no, I don't mean the one between your legs

Othrewise, at night, there are a few who hang out on the road that runs from Sungei Wang Plaza to the bar area, following the monoail tracks.

i have seen a few in the Sungai Wang complex, doing shopping. So, they are around, in shopping complexes, so keep an eye out. You might get lucky. i have not had the nerve to aproach any this way.

Another word of warning: it is now Ramadan, so the authorities might be stepping up the checks and raids, as they feel particularly pious and a need to meddle at this time...

Well..you've to have a bit of a 'good stomach' to go the the small motels the lbs will bring you in, anyway
If you're more cash available then I suggest you scout Jalan P. Ramlee where many bars are,a nd you will see some stunners but they may ask you eaily 2-300 Ringgit.
However, as rightly Rossi says, Kl is a place full of lbs. They are everywhere a bit like in BKK. You have just to look for them and take a bit of a discreet approach but they are not so subdued, so they will flash at you with their eyes quite blatantly!

Do a search here for Chow Kit and you will find some valuable info in past posts.

There are some real lookers lurking in the dark and seedy Chow Kit streets. But as Rossi says they are concentrated in certain areas of Chow Kit, so you have to know where to look.

I don't remember the street names, but they are posted in detail in earlier posts.

You can also find them at the Hard Rock, Island, and many of the places along the main drag.

Well if you're on a tight budget, i'd recommend hitting the roads of chow kit, but the only places where i know ladyboys hang out are Jalan Haji Taib 1 and 2. The average rate there is about RM50, and don't forget that they'll charge you an extra RM10 for renting a room. As for the quality, it'll vary, from ugly to hawt, so yea, just walk along these two roads and check them out first before making a pick.

When I was in Kuala Lumpur I found very pretty LBs outside the Hard Rock caffe before turning left to the Bar area. They are all of them (about 8 then) in the left pavement waiting ...

Most I have ever paid was 40 in my numerous trips to Chow kit and that included the room. I think the 10 ringit for the room is a con for the new boys.

mind you haven't been for 6 months might be seeing a wave of inflation
