Yes, I know that some of the ladyboys from Romeos in Orchard Towers go to Golden Mile to buy their foodstuff and pray. Usually it's an afternoon mid week thing. These are those that live in an apartment and have a kitchen to cook.
Besides Golden Mile another favourite spot for them is the Fu Lu Shou temple in Waterloo Street.
In spite of their trade they appear to be quite pious. Atoning for their "wrongdoings" and praying for good luck as one ladyboy told me.

S Sling et al, starting recon on Sing scene in general so pls keep up thread. Have a few weeks to get sorted before going down for business. Plan to get work done in Sing then feck off to LOS and say hi to Stogie but let's face it: we aren't going to last being a week in Asia with no action, now are we? Ergo, must brush up on Sing chops. OT sounds like a total pain in the arse thinking Rowell if not for any other reason than it seems like there is more freedom to move, hunt, & strike if need be. Never been to Romeo's but I'll tell you I can't bear places like Obsessions on a busy night. I'm pretty good at feigning indifference but one just can't make that card stick when there are 10 hounds clawing at you. You know it, they know it, and frankly it sucks.

Keep up the sing chat lads, its good info for we out of towners.

From what I hear, the action in OT has slowed down a lot, so don't think of OT (at least the LB bars) as same same as Nana. They aren't going to be terribly busy or over-crowded. You should have a good time and your pick of ladies if you go. I never went to Rowell, but couldn't be bothered. It's hot as fuck over there and if your idea of a fun time is to be fucking an LB who has servcied 5+ guys before you in a dark, danky, and hot/humid backroom be my guest. For my money, OT is the place to go. It's a bit more expensive to be sure, but you do get what you pay for!

Wow, took a closer look at Rowell in the Sing trip reports and have to say I agree with your take on the situation.  Nothing against my South Asian brothers but the prospect of standing in line behind a lorryload of S. Asian construction workers is not appealing in the slightest. I will still go just to have a look at the action and to hear the "Rowell Steps" in action.

Sing punters ante up: what's doing your way? Any feel for prices coming out of OT or on the streets surrounding? Let's hear you!

a few weeks ago i asked a taxi driver to take me to rowell.
the street did not only look uninviting to me!
looking at the place the taxi driver suggested :'i better take you to ot!"
had a great evening there at the CH and the following night at romeo
there is a limit to my selfrespect

Glad you see the light, my brother. Rowell isn't bad if you're really hurting for scratch and can somehow put a mental block on the whole situation - but that defeats the purpose of having some nice ladyboy fun doesn't it?

My advice, go to OT and have a few drinks and a good time. Find a nice girl and pay her a fair price for the deed. It's SG, so of course it's going to be higher than what you'd pay in a Nana go-go, but I think a lot of girls are going to be happy with $100 to $150 SGD (depends on the girl of course, but this is a realistic range I think).

As far as the Thai ladyboys in Orchard Towers go, it's still the same scenario.
The non locals (Koreans and Japanese included) are asked for S$200 to S$250.
Of course, you could bargain early in the week for maybe $150 or perhaps lower probably from those not that great looking. Fridays and Saturdays, I think, it would be harder to get a bargain with the bigger crowds.
It's really the same set of girls being rotated every 2 to 4 weeks. In Romeos there's actually about 50 to 60 in total, but only 20 are there each time. The rest wait their turn.
As for the local ladyboys, they appear close to midnight on the ground floor around the 7-11. Also, these days, some local lasses make an appearance around the same time at Lorong 16 Geylang.
Rowell is best used as a starting point, mentally blocking out the rough conditions, going in the first time and then making appointments after or before their work at a hotel.
So basically if you're looking for a bonk (the ladyboy escorts in vicesisters aside) between 9 to midnight it's one extreme or the other these days.

As far as S$100 prices are concerned, if the ladyboys earn that amount, we're bound to see a drop in the number coming. Each night they work from 9 to 3am. (4am on weekends) Each customer takes 3 hours (including travel) to service. So unless they're very lucky to get a customer the moment they come and the moment they get back it's difficult to do 2 in a night. They pay S$20 a day for accommodation, about another S$10 for food and the shared taxi. And that doesn't include air fares. So it's not that great money for them given that they sometimes work 30 out of every 60 days with visa restrictions.
