It was and still is hard to have moved from Bangkok and all it has to offer, but a better job moved me south to KL, hard as it is.
Anyway, since I have been here for about 6 months so far, I thought I could help visitors to KL with advice, so here we go...
First of all, there LB scene here is far from as developed, or should we say exposed, as in Thailand. Malaysia being far from as open to this, it's just not happening, but they are here and they are plenty..!
There are always LB's to be found on the stretch from Hard Rock to Beach Club, although stories of people having cash and/or cell phone stolen happens fairly often, so beware.
The corner just outside Beach Club (Jln. Sultan Ismail) always gather a few LB's especially in the late hours, although it is not exactly discreet to be picking up there. Some good looking ones are there - and some that, well...
Been told by a LB about a bar in the Bukit Bintang area, apparently called Blue Parrot or something like that, which attracts a LB crowd on a daily basis. It is a gay bar, just so you know, I havent found the guts to go there myself so cant really report, but its there and there are LB's.
There should be more bars in Bukit Bintang, and also the Bangsar bar, that area attracts LB's.
Another place to find KL based LB's are using www.vicesisters.com website - they are plenty and all respond to emails.
