Hotel in KL (Kuala Lumpur)?

Hi, does anyone know a clean hotel in KL (Kuala Lumpur)? The search function didn't show up anything. My budget is normal, don't wanna go Majestic grande but don't want to have a close encounter with a cockroach either.

Hi, if you are looking to be in the action, go for the Concord, Hard Rock cafe on ground and 5 min walk to all the locations one needs to find a lady or ladyboy.

Not cheapest, but not most expensive.

I think there are quite a few postings on where to find LB action in KL and they are accurate.
As for safety, it is as safe as most large cities. Been here 37 years and never been mugged whilst trawling even the seediest parts of town. Be sensible in your actions and its a damn friendly place to be.

Try Hilton Central in KL

easily the best hotel n most comfy rooms in KL I have ever stayed in. a bit pricey though..... abt usd120 a nite but believe me, it is worth it.

Mind you, just marginally less than Singapore as I understand it. But if it's a case of spending a night or two and you manage to pick up something nice what the heck! It's the thrill of the hunt sometimes.

a few months ago in KL there were quite a few LB outside beach club, between beach and hard rock, and across the street from both.  so its not dead for LB. dont think there are many out at around 9pm but by 12 (when me and the lads went) there were plentyyyyyyy....
either bring them to your hotel mate, or they'll know the cheap short time hotel around the corner from beach.

Visited KL a few years ago with wife and stayed at a small Hotel called The Lodge. This is across the road from the Hilton in The Golden Triangle. Found it to be very friendly and comfortable and cheaply priced. I would recommend it.
