a "past" pal recommends NEPTUNE bar in Wan chai i dont know where that is...and yes i have heard there are also streetwalkers in Wan Chai and very late at night..
Lan Kwai Fong has several LBs hanging out in the street corners there and in one open bar there where most LBs from Ermita, Philippines hang out....(this was when i last went there in December, i mean i don't know what to call it...streetwalking or sidewalk-walking) but the upscaleness of LKF seems too inappropriate to be peddling one's wares there....
on the other hANd...
you can always wait for me when i land in HK in 20 daysthis May 29

Neptune is a downstairs bar just round the corner from Delaneys Bar and is a great place to get pissed with fellow business types.... enough bullshit is spoken in conversations to fill an Olympic swimming pool. I have been going there since 1990 and i have never seen a Ladyboy in Neptune Bar yet. Loads of Goldigging GGs but no sighting LBs...maybe just a bad co incidence.
Many Wanchai bars wont let LBs in i heard and i would think Neptune is one of those.Comment

well there are many reasons why FIlipinas do not work in Wanchai even with the burgeoning trade going on there...one of them is supposedly the Chinese underground that controls the business there ...
that's why going about in hongkong and looking for ladyboys in the bars is a bit tricky....Comment

Try futile, Lisa. But good luck when you visit here. I've never gone looking for LBs in HK and in truth don't see too many of them anyway. There is no place in Lan Kwai Fong that is an LB venue, and agree that its a bit to yuppie for an LB clientèle.
The main venues are the streets of Wan Chai (around Delany's) and around the Ferry Terminal, Peking street and Nathan, and that area in TsimShaTsui. Mainly streetwalkers.
You are right about the Wan Chai bars; mostly triad controlled (along with the bars in East TST). They have a reputation for sophisticated scams for drugging visitors (rohypnol) and cleaning out their bank accounts. Closest I get is on my way to Delany's.
I've heard about LB venues in MongKok (the Shanghai-Reclamation street area of Fruit Chan's movie Durian-Durian) but, again, can't get excited about the area ... really industrial and sleazy.Comment

There is a tiny Thai restaurant called Thai Pot in Wanchai, near Delaney's. The LBs go to eat there about 11pm or so, and then walk the streets. There are always LBs there, every night. Thais, Chinese. They are always on the street because they are not allowed in bars since the last many years.
There is also Golden Dome cabaret show. The girls are not allowed to go out with men, but then prostitution is illegal in Thailand too. The girls in Golden Dome are very high calibre, but you'd have to watch a show, wait for the pictures, give you phone number, and then 50/50 if it works out.Comment

There are quite a few working near Delaneys at the moment, although the quality was not good.
Kimberly, who has appeared on ATS before, is in town and working there.Comment

Well guys as i have now permanently left BKK and moved to HK i will do my best to seek some out!!
I have also come across one or two LB in Laguna thought they dont seem to stay around very long!
