Japan - New Half Adventure?

I've got a one night layover in Tokyo/Narita. I've checked out the Japan LB/NH info here and things look a bit grim. However, I found this on the web. The date is a bit out as it mentions 2004. Anyone had experience?

New Half bars are very expensive here in Japan. If you only have a one night layover it will probably leave you in the airport area which is far from Tokyo. You would have to take the Narita express train into Tokyo station for 4000 yen.

Very few New Half bars will allow foreigners that do not speak Japanese, actually no bars that I know of. And if you do get in you are looking at spending 3000-5000 yen per each hour just to drink whiskey or Soju for free, not including the girls drinks. You are looking to spend 30-5000 yen on a good looking New Half in the Roppongi area. Anything less than that you would get a man in drag.

There are some Philippine post ops working in strip clubs in Roppongi also.

You can meet non-Japanese, i.e., mostly Filipino, LBs in Roppongi in the upstairs Motown bar, which is about 50m from Roppongi Cross. They are about 20-30,000 yen. No Japanese new-halfs there. There are many regulars so it is a reliable place. However, I don't think this it is a "must see" kind of experience. 30,000 yen is a fair amount of cash to meet a Filipino.

I have tried and never been able to enter a true Japanese new-half bar.

I think you will find that that site is a New-Half Health Delivery place, in other words a ladyboy brothel.
There are quite a few but I do not know how they feel about non japanese.
