I've been to Cuba three times, for holidays, but I never saw any trannies, only once one ugly gay bloke, who tried to dress a bit like a woman.
The cubans are very macho and I guess not very tolerant when it comes to gays, lesbians and needless to say trannies.
If there are any at all, I guess they would be in the bigger cities, like Havanna or the other one in the east, damn forgot the name, but I am sure you know which one I mean.
A good tip would probably be, to check out the staff of one of the popular cabaret shows, they might have a tranny in their show?
